Welcome to OLOC

Our Lady of Consolation Aged Care Services Limited is an independent Catholic organization, providing a specialized range of aged and community care services.

OLOC is owned by the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary, an international order of religious women who are value driven in providing care and support that remains true to the spirit of St. Francis.

The company operates both residential aged care and community care services out of the large, and well-established site in Western Sydney, conveniently located off Sydney’s M7/M4 Interchange.

The complex at Rooty Hill, consists of:

  • 130 residential aged care nursing home rooms
  • 173 residential aged care hostel rooms

    Within both the nursing home and hostel is a small unit dedicated to providing dementia-specific residential aged care.

    General low-care respite is also available in the hostel.

    Both the nursing home and the hostel are fully accredited and certified.

    Our community care services provide a range of services, directed at supporting people to remain living at home. We operate:

  • Community Aged Care Package (CACP) services (hostel level of care delivered to the home);
  • Extended Aged Care at Home (EACH) services (nursing home level of care delivered to the home);
  • Dementia EACH (dementia-specific nursing home level of care delivered to the home); as well as,
  • A wide variety of less-intensive Home and Community Care (HACC) funded services, including assistance with lawn mowing, home maintenance and modification, home linen services and a carer support service.

    The offices of our community care services and administration are also located at the Rooty Hill complex in the Administration Building.
